Located in the northwest of Tanzania this park holds the tag of UNESCO world heritage site. It is spread around 5700 sq. miles encompassing grasslands, marshy forest, vast savannahs and woodlands. Spot various big game animals such as giraffes, lions, elephants, gazelles, zebras in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch and carry on with a short game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Day 2 Serengeti National Park
Head out into the wilderness after breakfast to begin your full day game drive across Serengeti National Park. Discover large prides of lions lazing in the tall grasses and elephants feeding on acacia barks. Be intrigued by a whole range of African wildlife including giraffes, eland antelopes, monkeys, spectacular wildebeests, cheetahs and other animals. Enjoy picnic lunch in the afternoon.
Day 3 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Wake up for an early morning Serengeti game drive. Return to your accommodation for brunch and depart for Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of the world. You may stop en-route for an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge, the famous paleoanthropological site known for its invaluable contribution in understanding of early human evolution. Thereafter you arrive in Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. It’s a type of volcanic crater whose eternal charm emerges from its stunning beauty and the abundance of wildlife dwelling on the crater floor.
Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast we descend into the giant caldera floor for an enthusiastic game drive. This great world heritage site contains the largest cluster of animals in entire Africa. The rich pastures and permanent water on the crater floor supports a population of thousands of mammals. You will have a great time observing abundant wildlife such as rhinos, lions, elephants and be intrigued by the legendary Maasai tribe who lives among these creatures. Take a break for lunch at the hippo pool picnic site before ascending towards the rim for your departure to Arusha.
